Before you answer that question, think about it.  Most people are carrying conscious, or unconscious negative beliefs about their body.

Either you evaluate your body into parts that you like or don’t like, or you focus on what you wish you could change, or what you used to look like or wish you look like. Or if you’re an empath, you’re most likely holding onto other people’s energy or feeling like your body has too many sensitivities.

 Your body has a consciousness

If you truly love your body as the beautiful vessel of your spirit that it is, your life will change.

If you’re treating your body like something that needs to change in order to enjoy your life more, you’re getting it backwards.

There are a multitude of spiritual lessons that prepare you for each experience. Some lessons are integrated in this lifetime, some occur over many lifetimes. Wherever you are now is exactly where you need to be!

It’s light up here!

Why so serious? While you fret about the small stuff, your Guides are trying to get you to lighten up! That’s why when you’re feeling sad or confused you’ll find yourself crossing paths with an adorable puppy, or happily chirping bird. It’s to lighten your energy! Your life is a journey of wonder and magic! When you find yourself stuck at every turn, it’s because your Guides are trying to show you that you are on the wrong path. It’s as if you were entering a one way street and you see, “do not enter” signs.

Your Tarot Birth Cards

Most of us know our star sign, but did you know that we each have a set of Tarot Birth Cards?

Created from the numbers in your birth date, Tarot Birth Cards represent our potential in this lifetime and the qualities we can draw upon in order to fulfill our spiritual mission. They show you the strengths, challenges and key themes of an entire lifetime, with great accuracy and depth.

The best part? They’re easy to work out and once you know Tarot Birth Cards, you can continue to integrate this new knowledge into your life to create even greater alignment and fulfillment on a spiritual level.

How to Calculate Your Tarot Birth Cards

We each have two (and occasionally three) Tarot Birth Cards, based on the date of our birth.

To determine your Tarot Birth Cards, add the numbers in your birth date – i.e. MM + DD +YY + YY. For example, if your birthday is April 7, 1969, you will add 4 + 7+ 19 + 69 = 99

Then add those 2 digits. For example, 9 + 9 = 18. This gives us the first Birth Card – the Moon (card number 18). Then, reduce this down to one number for the second Birth Card (e.g. 1 + 8 =9) – the Hermit (card number 9).

If the birthday adds up to a three-digit number (e.g.  April 27th 1979 is 4 + 27 + 19 + 79 = 129), the first two digits are considered as one number (e.g. 12) and are added to the third digit (e.g. 12 + 9 = 21).

The first Birth Card in this case is the World. The second Birth Card is the Hermit (2 + 1).

And if your birthday adds up to a single digit (e.g. 8 + 0 = 8), look for the Tarot Birth Card pair (see below). In the case of the single digit of 8 the pair is the Star (card number 17, or 1 + 7).

How to Interpret Your Tarot Birth Cards

So now you have your Tarot Birth Cards, what do they actually mean?

Thankfully, you don’t need to be a master of Tarot to find out! I’ve included brief descriptions below.

Wheel of Fortune (10) & Magician (1)

Wheel of fortune and the magician tarot cards. “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” This is your mantra with the Tarot Birth Card combination! You can take any situation that life throws at you and turn it into something that benefits you and others.

You see yourself as the creator of your destiny, rather than being at the mercy of your fate, and with this mindset, you can achieve your greatest dreams and desires.

Your Spirit Animal Meaning is with you now.

Spirit animal meaning is revealed in many unique ways. Each one has a particular strength that you can embody when they show up in your life.

There are so many ways people start the New Year. You may have created a vision board, or wrote down your “theme” words, or core desired feelings to set your intentions.

These are all very potent ways to direct your energy for a positive year ahead.

I like to do something different. Instead of deciding what I want my year to be like, I ask Spirit to show me the spirit animal meaning. It’s the difference between visioning, and envisioning. When you envision, you are RECEIVING your guidance from a higher source, instead of directing your life from your mind.

A New Year Ritual with Soul

One ritual I do every January 1st is divining my Spirit Guide Animal for the year. I say a prayer and choose from an animal card oracle deck to show me the animal that will be my guide and protector.

The animal that shows up in the card ALWAYS shows up in other areas in my life, reinforcing its spirit animal meaning.

About a month ago, my husband had a dream about that was specifically for me. He dreamed of an animal who brought me something to put in my heart, a profound manifestation of its spirit animal meaning. (And yes, my husband is psychic too, what else would you expect?). About two weeks prior to that, we had a series of synchronistic events that led us to get a spirit painting from a shamanic artist, further delving into the depths of its spirit animal meaning.

We were eagerly awaiting her paintings in the mail, and when mine showed up, it had that same animal in it too, delving into its spirit animal meaning! with its spirit animal meaning! Then one of my best friends told me about a dream she had with the same animal in it too with its spirit animal meaning! (I don’t share what that animal is, because it’s sacred to me), , symbolizing its spirit animal meaning.

So, you can probably guess what card I pulled for my Animal Spirit Guide this year. Yup, the same one!

Animal Spirit Guides are everywhere and when you start to recognized them, you will find magic and inspiration everywhere.

Every animal has a power, or what is known as “their medicine”. Each one has a particular strength and ability, that you can embody when they show up in your life. They are trying to teach you something.

Signs are everywhere around you

Pay attention to when you see an animal in an unusual place or circumstance, or if they are showing up repeatedly. Most likely, this is a message from your Animal Spirit Guide who is with you.

For instance, if you find a squirrel in your garage, that might be a message from Spirit that you need to steward your resources, just like squirrels store nuts for the winter.

Or if you see a hawk fly right by you, that’s a message you need to look at life from a higher perspective and get a bird’s-eye view of your circumstances.

Or if you see a turtle on the road, the Universe it trying to tell you to slow down.

Messages from your Spirit Animal Guides

There are several ways your Spirit Animal Guides are getting messages to you.

  • Synchronicities – if you see this animal referenced several times in your life, they are trying to get your attention.
  • Animals in unusual circumstance – if you see a creature that is not typical in that environment, that is a BIG message for you.
  • Dreams and visions – you might have an animal that pops into your mind and you’re wondering why you are thinking of that. That’s your Animal Spirit Guide communicating with you.

Interpret the animal’s energy, spirit animal meaning

This is the fun part! People are always wondering what these animals mean…yet it’s so easy to figure out.

Ask yourself some simple questions:

What is this animal good at? If I had to define this animal’s energy in one word, what would it be? What are their special powers?
