I use my intuition every day in every way. It is not only used in my personal day to day life, it’s what I use in my profession to HELP people. In fact, I help thousands of people using it. Every day, I receive emails from clients telling them how much our one little hour together changed their life for good, for the better. It’s a gift and a blessing.

And yet, why is it every time someone asks me what I do for a living, I feel very uncomfortable? Sure, we can harken it back to some past life where I was stoned to death or accused of being a witch and burned at the stake, but this feeling I have is very real right now. Somehow, in the year 2012, the 21st freakin’ century, I still have pangs of fear and even embarrassment about what I do.

Oh yes, people are nice most of the time. In fact, mostly they are intrigued – they find me to be a novelty, like I work in the circus as a flame thrower or something. Or, I can tell they are trying to be nice, when in fact they think I’m totally deluded, and just like people will say, “some of my best friends are…”, they’ll say to me, “I believe in intuition.”. As if intuition is something Ray Bradbury invented that we somehow managed to replicate here on earth. How can you not “believe” in intuition? That’s like not believing in hearing, seeing, or smelling?

These are the nice people. There are some others that feel that using your intuition, your sixth SENSE, (which is essential for your well being and survival), is evil. I have friends that don’t want other people to know that they practice and study intuition because they will be ostracized. When I had a “day  job” in an office, I was terrified that people at work would find out what I did because at best I would be ridiculed, or at worst – fired. I was so far deep into that walk-in Carrie Bradshaw style closet I didn’t see any way out.

Thankfully, I found my way out of the closet!  I had an epiphany. I realized that the more comfortable I am with who I am, the more other people would be too. And that’s when my life turned around. I “put myself out there”. If someone had a problem judging me for who I was, it was THEIR problem, not mine. I have nothing to be ashamed of. I help people! As difficult as it was, if they judged me, I maintained my love and belief in myself and didn’t take it personally. How sad for them that they were only utilizing five senses instead of six! I needed to have compassion for them instead of fear.

By doing this, I began to gain more confidence in myself personally and professionally. My life and business flourished!

The same can happen for you. Are you expressing who you fully are in the world? Are you being totally authentic to yourself, or are you making safe choices that you think are more secure or socially acceptable? It’s a Universal law that your external world is a mirror for how you treat yourself. If you believe and accept yourself, because you are intuitively honoring your true nature, you will be supported by the external world and we will celebrate you for it!

So what are you waiting for? Your intuition is your greatest gift to realize your life’s potential. So get your psychic groove on! Honor it, listen to it, don’t be afraid of it ‘cuz it won’t bite you. And let the world know you are living large with all sixth senses! You will be so glad you did.

The best way to have find a partner you feel passionate about is to be passionate about your life! If you are doing what you love with people you enjoy, happiness will radiate from your being! Nothing is more attractive – energetically or physically than joy! People will want to be with you. More importantly, you will want to be with you!

Recently, I was introduced to a site called Meetup.com. This has been such a blessing in my life! I started an Intuitive Living meetup where I share tools to help people access their own intuition. I’ve met so many incredible people! What’s more, it has inspired me to join other meetups in my area. It’s opened up a whole new world for me.

I encourage you, if sitting in front of your computer hasn’t inspired you to meet the people you want, or do the things you like. There is a whole world waiting for you to explore. Now go out and meet some wonderful people! You will love your life much more as a result. Better yet, you will meet some people who love you too!

This is the year everyone’s been talking about. There has been so much information in the media about the Mayan Prophecies  - and yet, the most important transformation for 2012 is the dramatic energies happening within you!

2012 is a 5 Universal year. 5 is the number is freedom, expression, evolution, revolution, and excitement. Notice all of these words have E as their first vowel. E is the 5th letter of the alphabet. The letters in our language that add up to number 5 are N, E and W, which spell the word NEW.

This is a year to try new things, take risks, and make radical choices.

Last year all of your foundations were tested. We were in a 4 Universal Year with an 11 influence. The 11 is a gateway of truth. If the foundations of your life, particularly your relationships, but also your career, home, finance, lifestyle – did not reflect your personal values, if they didn’t allow you to express who you really are – then those foundations crumbled.

Now it’s time to rebuild all of those foundations. However it’s impossible for you to go back to your old way of being.  You cannot rebuild a structure using the same materials and techniques and expect a different result. You need to create new habits, beliefs, activities and relationships that support you expressing the fullness of who you are.

The number five relates to the fifth chakra – your throat chakra. This is where you express your feelings and also your purpose that is meant to be shared and communicated with others. You know you are in alignment with your purpose when you feel joy.

So, when you are making a choice between something that seems good on paper, and something that seems more risky but your whole being feels excited about, always choose that one that makes your spirit happy. When you do, that’s all the doors open for you. When you deny your potential, that’s when you feel like your treading water.

So if you’ve been applying to the same boring jobs and haven’t been hired, or you just broke up with a partner that didn’t understand or support you, or you can’t seem find the right person to date by staying home and searching for them online, or going out with the same friends you’ve been with for years; It’s not because you’re not good enough!

You can thank your lucky stars the Universe is preventing you from limiting yourself. YOU DESERVE BETTER!

Ask yourself, What would you do right now to live your dreams if you weren’t scared? What actions would you take if you completely believed in yourself?  Who would you connect with and how would you share your gifts with the world? Remember, your passions will always lead you to your purpose, and when you invest in yourself, other people will invest in you as well. Take a chance to do more and be more than you ever thought possible. You have everything to gain, because you are worth it!

Finding your Life Path number:

There are many ways to do this. For simplicity, here is one of the many ways to find your life path number.

Write out your birthday in numeric form including the 4 digit year. For example if your birthday is October 26, 1994 you write:

10 26 1994. Now add all the numbers across (1+0+2+6+1+9+9+4) =32. Now reduce (keep adding) the double digit number until you get a single digit. Since this adds up to 32 we add 3+2=5.

A person born on 10-26-1994 has a life path number of 5.

Got it? Great! Now do this for all of your friends and family and discover what makes them tick! Below are the interpretations.

1 Life Path – Creativity and Confidence: This person will be divinely inspired and have a great deal of physical energy and communication skills, many talents. Since 1 is a number of firsts, they will strive to be number one and be competitive, even if it is only with themselves. They are willful, confident and assertive. They have extremely high standards and will strive to be the first at everything they do. They will need variety and independence. They are innovators and inventors.
Challenge: They have so many ideas and inspirations, in such a unique way they will not know how to handle the energy or have the confidence to bring their ideas to fruition. Challenge: Oftentimes, they had either too much order/strictness or not enough while they were growing up.  They can be overly logical, stubborn, and allow their need for security overwhelm their better judgment. They must learn how to live within restrictions so they find strength and fortitude within. They must learn how to balance their reason with their emotions.

5 Life Path – Freedom and Change: These quick-witted fun loving individuals are here to learn about tradition, either breaking tradition, or creating new traditions.  These freedom-fighters and adventure-lovers need to experience things for themselves, through their five senses, and crave variety.  They are natural storytellers, entertainers, and also very good counselors.   This is a highly social vibration and can be the life of the party. They are always fun to be around!
Challenge: Oftentimes they have difficulty finding what they want to commit to because of their need for freedom and variety is so strong.  They must learn that freedom comes from within, so if they find something(s) they like, they must find the discipline to stick to it and find freedom within that. Also, they often learn from mistakes and understand you cannot be perfect right away. Mistakes are part of the learning process and its OK to make them.

6 Life Path – Balance and harmony: These peace minded individuals are very sensitive to vibrations, and therefore wish for their environment and all their relationships to feel peaceful and harmonious. Once they learn to trust their own intuition, they will attract more people and circumstances and trust the process of life as well.

8 Life Path – Power and Abundance: These magnetic individuals make great leaders and organizers and can often see the big picture of things.  They do everything larger than life, including their mistakes.  They are here to develop their strength so they will be tested. They must get in touch with their passions, to channel their tremendous power, and feel comfortable with their power, status and recognition.  They can, and want to (if not secretly) make a great deal of money, and use it in service for the higher good. They like people to view them with respect.
Challenge: These individuals often fear their passions and fear power, associating it with negativity or greed. They need to learn that what is in their hearts can lead them to their purpose, instead of getting caught up in the to-do lists of life. They can often feel victimized, or forget to take time to themselves to nurture their spirit. They can actively avoid money or responsibility due to subconscious fears. Once they understand the more power they channel through them from Source, the more good they can do in the world, nothing can stop these magnetic and philanthropic leaders!

9 Life Path – Integrity and Wholeness: These individuals are natural teachers and counselors. They are highly intuitive have a strong sense of God within them, even if they do not know it.  They are old souls. They can synthesize vast and complex information to make it easily understood by others. They are often very magnetic to others, as people are drawn to their innate wisdom. They can often delve into a person’s psyche and know what others are thinking.
Challenge: They must learn to individuate and go against the grain.  This requires them not caring about what others thing about them, even though they are very sensitive to other people’s energy. They often have family burdens that they have taken on, or feeling of abandonment related to family or groups. They can feel misunderstood and isolated. They need to learn how to let go of the past and live in the present. When they do so, they are lights in the world to inspire many others on their path.

Knowing your Personal year cycles can help you interpret the many changes happening within and around you. It is akin to reading the weather report before planning a trip. Varied energies are conducive to different activities and behaviors. There is a time to act, to wait, to change, to express, to explore or retreat. A season for everything!

Here is how to find your Personal Year number:
First, reduce the month and day of your birth to a single digit. You do this by adding each individual number of the date until the sum number equals a single digit. For example, if your birthday is December 19th. (December is the 12th month) You add the digits of the month (12) and day (19). In this example 1+2+1+9=13. You want to reduce this sum until you get a single digit, so in this case you add 1+3=4.

Next, reduce the current year for which you are making the calculation to a single digit. The year 2012 would become 5 (2+0+1+2=5).

Now, add the single digit representing your birthday to the single digit representing the current year. Thus in this case we ad 4+5=9, 2012 is a 9 personal year for the person born on December 19.

Another example, if your birthday is July 29, you add 7+2+9=18. Then reduce the 18 (1+8=9). Then add that single digit sum (9) to the current year (which in our example is 2012 which reduces to 5). 9+5=14. 14 is a double digit so we reduce it further by adding 1+4=5. This person is in a 5 personal year in 2012.

To simplify, you add the day and month of your birthday and keep adding until you reach a single digit. Now add that to the number the single digit total of the current year. If your total is a double digit, add those two numbers together until you reach a single digit.

You got it? Now, look up your personal year below. Once you do that, you can look up your friends, your family, even your pets! You can do this every year. Have fun!

1 Personal Year
This is a brand new beginning for you! Last year you completed a 9 year cycle. You most likely let go of some people and circumstances in your life, and now is time to plant seeds and embark upon new adventures. This is a wonderful time to do anything you have wanted to do but have been making excuses for. Now is the time to take action and be bold! This is not a time to wait and think about things, it is a time to do! You will have a lot of energy now, so do some form of physical exercise daily, otherwise you might experience nervous tension in your body or mind. Starting something new takes confidence. Believe in yourself. This Universe is helping you break out of your comfort zone and take your life to a new level!

2 Personal Year
After the intense energy and changes of last year, now is a time to slow down and reflect upon your life and your choices. You might feel torn in two directions and some of your old identities are merging with you new ones. Be kind to yourself as you integrate these energies. Your emotions are on high and you might feel oversensitive or take other people’s opinions to heart. That is why it is so important to take time and reflect on your needs and personal truth. What is it that YOU want? To find inner balance, you might need to draw more boundaries, say no more often, and learn how to receive. Where can you take back some of your energy? Are you giving more than you are receiving? Are there any areas in your life where you feel you deserve more? Explore those areas and find ways to balance your relationships in a reciprocal manner. 3 Personal Year
The world is your stage! This is a potently creative time, so instead of worrying about your future, create the life you desire by cultivating more joy and beauty within you. What do you find beautiful about yourself and your life? What feeds your spirit and makes you feel happy? Use your imagination to create the life you have always wanted. Instead of focusing about what you lack, plant the seeds of love and nurture them by giving attention to what you are grateful for and what you are doing right! 3 is a social energy so spend time with those people that help you feel good and raise your vibration. Your creativity is in full force now and it needs to be expressed. What activities would you love to do? Do them now. You will meet wonderful people and really feel good about yourself. This would be a great time to keep use your voice with singing, acting or writing. Any form of creative expression would be beneficial. Make sure you tell people how you feel, because your emotions are seeking an outlet. Before doing so, spend some time to find words that uplift and inspire rather than create more conflict. Focus on what is beautiful in yourself and others and your world will look and feel better every day.

4 Personal Year
After the expansive creative energies of last year, this is a time to solidify your foundation and get the details of your life in order. 5 Personal Year
Get ready for a dramatic and exciting year! This year will feel like it is flying by because there will be so many changes and activities. After all the hard work of last year, this is a fantastic time to have fun and meet new people, or travel to distant places. You may even feel the urge to relocate. You will find your social life expanding as you feel more expansive as well. If there are any structures in your life that restrict you, now is the time to shake them off and seek new horizons. This is a wonderful time to have an adventure so if there is anywhere you want to go, buy your ticket! Or take that class you always wanted to take, or go to the theater, or even be in the theater! If you want to take up a new hobby, being in a group environment would be especially rewarding. If you are involved in the media or any way, or have always wanted to be, you’ll feel extra blessed this year. If you want to grow your business, any type of advertising would prove worthwhile. Make sure that with all of these changes and new feelings that you don’t scatter your energies. Listen to your heart to discern what is most important and make your decisions based on your intuitive guidance. You might make mistakes, but that is how you learn, and those lessons will serve you and help you to instruct others in the future.

6 Personal Year
Balance is a theme for you this year. With all of the changes and excitement from the previous year, now is the time to restore your body, mind and spirit. Your home and family will take center stage, so you want to make sure your surroundings are harmonious and serene. Pay particular attention to the energy of your space, including the colors and sounds. Make any changes to your environment that help you feel peaceful and relaxed. Perhaps you want to beautify your personal image as well, such as investing in a new wardrobe or different hairstyle that helps you feel more attractive. If you can find time in nature, it will nourish every part of you, particularly if you retreat near the ocean. You might find you want to relocate closer to nature or live in a more serene environment, or at least go on a vacation. If you do not have a daily meditation practice, you might consider taking one up. This is an ideal time to engage in any spiritual activity or group where you can learn more about your chosen faith with others. Any course of study or research will prove worthwhile provided your heart is in it, and you are not doing it out of obligation. If you are a writer, this can be the year to create your best work yet! No matter what you engage in this year, you want to keep your mind focused on what you want, rather than let your emotions get the better of you. At times, you might feel that your emotions or outward circumstances are tearing you in two directions, leaving you angry or confused. This is an opportunity for you to gain dominion over your mind, so that you feel in control of your life, rather than feeling that circumstances in your life occur at random. 8 Personal Year
Now is a time to prosper! After all your hard work, you will begin to see the fruits of your labor. After the reflective introspection of last year, now is the time to act! And act big! What are your passions? Pay attention to those inner stirrings within you that make you feel excited and motivate you. Follow your bliss. You might find yourself wanting to do more, be more, experience more. This is good! What are some of those things that make you happy that you have been putting off? Don’t delay any longer. Live your life to the fullest! Pursue your dreams by taking some risks. If you feel stifled in any way it is because you have been limiting your idea of who you are. You can own your power and leadership abilities more fully now, and that includes your ability to receive more financial abundance. You might find yourself challenged this year, as more is required of you, but that is only so you can experience your potential more fully. If you find yourself in power plays at work or in your relationships, it is to remind you that it is OK to be powerful, and not to be afraid to assert yourself. What is it that you want? Now go for it! And have fun reaping the rewards!

9 Personal Year
Congratulations! You are on the final year of a 9 year cycle. You have learned a lot along the way, so take stock of all of your lessons because you will be passing this wisdom to others. You might find that others are drawn to you for advice or teaching this year. Trust that you have what it takes to guide them. You might be reflecting quite a bit on the past now, but this is only so you learn from it and move on. Make sure you are not holding on to the past. Let go of what no longer serves you. Finish up any loose ends and unfinished business in your life as you prepare for a new cycle. Forgive anyone who needs forgiving and that includes yourself! You might require more alone time this year, so you can connect with your intuition. There is nothing wrong with this. Value this time with yourself; there will be more excitement next year. This is a period for reflection, but it is also a time for recognition of everything you have done and achieved, so make sure you are taking stock of everything good in your life, and it will come back to you manifold. You will be harvesting your many rewards, so enjoy your bounty. You deserve it!

Every number has a vibration, and when a player wears their jersey, they are activating that vibration in their lives. Sometimes this number is a karmic debt, balancing their strengths and weaknesses, sometimes it enhances their performance because it has strong energy for them, and often it is a bit of both.

I’ve always liked Drew Brees as a person. He is known for his compassion, selflessness, team spirit, and his devotion to his fans, teammates, and humanity in general. So when I witnessed this evening him breaking breaking a record that has been held for 27 years, and parading around the Superdome with tears in his eyes humbly celebrating his victory, I was not surprise to see the number 9 emboldened on his chest.

The number 9 is known for its compassion, humanitarianism and selflessnes. It is the last of all the single digits, and is often known as the number of the old soul. Mahatmas Ghandi was a 9 life path, and represents the true essence of this vibration.

9 is a vibration very strong in Drew Brees’ chart. The name “Drew Brees” adds up to 9 in numerology. His full name, Andrew Christopher Brees has the letter “r” in each name. R carries a 9 vibration because it is the 18th letter of the alphabet (1+8=9) Today, he broke a passing record that has been held for 27 years (also a 9; 2+7=9)

The journey of the number 9 is can be quite difficult. They often have challenging childhoods where their emotional needs have not been nurtured and they feel abandoned. Many people know that Drew Brees, at the time he won the Superbowl in 2009 and also experienced the birth of his child, also had to endure the pain of his mother committing suicide – the ultimate abandonment.

One thing is for sure, Drew himself is going to be an amazing father. Family and taking responsibility for others is his strong suit, since he has the number 6 running through his life as well. His birthday is January 15, 1979.  We see he was born on a 6 day (the fifteenth day of the month 1+5=6). He is also a 6 lifepath.

The numbers 6 and 9 all comprise part of what we call the emotional sensitive numbers in numerology (3, 6 and 9). The abundance of these numbers in his chart indicate how sensitive he is. The 6 lifepath people love to be responsible for others, to take care of them, to nurture them, almost to the point of martrdom. Amazing he is the lead quarterback having the responsibility on his shoulders for a team called the Saints! Since 6 runs so strongly in his chart, it is not surprising the day of this victory for him is a 6 Universal day (12, 26 2011; 1+2+2+6+2+0+1+1=15; 1+5=6). For Drew, this was a personal 17 day for him. in numerology, 17 is known as the immortality number. And that’s just what he did today. This often goes even one step further where the person WANTS a different outcome than where their intuition guiding them because they are afraid to give up their security.  They wish, hope, attempt to manifest and law-of-attract their situation to be better. And no matter how much they try wish that their partner, job or situation is going to change because they are hoping and visualizing, their intuition is telling them that something is not right and they need to respond accordingly.

What needs to happen in these situations is to clearly and calmly ask yourself – why am I feeling confused? What is my intuition telling me is not right about my situation and what steps can I make to change? It’s as simple as that! By doing so you are empowering yourself to make a choice rather than waiting for change to happen TO you.

Step by step, moment by moment, by listening to where your intuition is guiding you, you will inevitably find yourself moving away from disharmonious situations and into more positive ones.

Every number has a code for us that reveals its purpose. 11 is considered a master number and with it comes extraordinary potential. The sacred geometry of the number 11 shows us it’s gifts. 1 is the only number that is completely straight up and down -  like a column, an antenna, a direct conduit from Spirit to Matter, as well as from Earth to the Cosmos. With this number 1, we receive information very quickly in the form of ideas and inspiration. In fact, the word inspired means In-Spirit.  1 energy moves very quickly through us, and needs to be processed and shaped by us to become manifest. When we receive inspiration from Spirit, it is because we are the perfect vehicles for those ideas to become creation.

When we have a double 1, as in the 11, the energy of inspiration is even more dynamic, not just twice as much but exponentially so. The 11 energy creates a current of light, insight, and intuition that’s almost electric. In fact, the word “LIGHT” adds up to number 11 in numerology. As well as the words, “PSYCHIC”, and “JESUS”. This will give you a clue as to the power and potential of this number.

If you look at the shape of the number 11 – it’s creates two pillars, a gateway, a portal; one which we are in the center of creates of space for us to be in a column of light – to be inspired, to receive wisdom, love, and be in complete alignment with Source energy.

When we look at the sacred geometry of 11:11:11 – there is an alignment that incorporates everyone on the planet. The beauty of this is when we see anything in triplicate, as in three 11s, it is a reminder to us that we are co-creating with the Divine. 3 is the number of Creation, and always speaks of the Divinity of humans, such as in the holy Trinity – the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, as well as our personal trinity of Body, Mind and Spirit.

11:11:11 is an incredible gateway of light and Divine connection directly with Source that allows you to manifest very quickly. When you are in alignment with your unique purpose; what you were put on the planet to do and share with others, you will be supported by the Universe in immeasurable ways. Doors will open, and connections will be made for you that seem miraculous.

If you have ever had a synchronicity then you have experienced what it is like to have everything lined up, where Spirit and Matter are in tune with one another; you have had a glimpse of that it is like to be connected to past, present, and future all at once.  Quantum physicist know that time is not linear. Shamans throughout the ages have taught us that we can heal our past and dream our future into being. This is what the 11:11:11 is showing us. We have parallel Universes (just as in the parallel lines of the number 11) of Past, Present and Future, and we can effect them all simultaneously.

By consciously releasing some of the emotional charge of past events, you can bring healing to yourself right now. You can also allow the light of 11 to illuminate your future, and change the energy of your future by bringing more love to yourself and others in the present.

The 11 teaches us that where there is light, there is also shadow. As you step into your power more by becoming more of who you are meant to be and share that with the world, it will most likely bring up your fears as well. Just know that is part of the process. As you have the courage to be more of yourself, you will inspire so many others to do so as well. What a beautiful planet this will be when we are all doing what we are meant to do with love and authenticity. Keep shining! The world is waiting for you!

So here’s the skinny. She’s living in a 7 home. This doesn’t necessarily mean that her address is number 7 – rather that the numbers of her house address add up to 7. (the name of the street doesn’t count) For example, the address 25 Butler Street is a 7, because when we add the individual numbers of 25  it equals 7 (2+5=7). So, why would she think living in a 7 home would be a problem? It’s really a respectable number. In fact, 7 is considered to be a lucky number!

Every number has a spectrum of energy with positive and negative aspects. The positive aspects of 7 are manifold. It is considered to represent the connection of  Spirit manifesting on Earth – an example of which is the seven major chakras as aspect our spiritual energies connecting to our physical bodies. Since the 7 energy is so deeply spiritual, or at least it is in its most positive expression, it requires us to take a retreat from the outside world to contemplate, meditate, and devote ourselves to God. Sounds great, so what’s the problem? Well, as you might have noticed, in the constant demands of our daily lives, it’s not so easy. If you have 7 energy in your life, and you are NOT taking time to yourself to process and connect with your intuition, your life will create a crisis for you so that you are forced to do so. And that’s when you will experience the negative aspect of the number 7. It can feel like your life is moving out of control – you are no longer in the drivers seat, and you simply cannot keep up. This is true especially if your house number (or life path, or destiny number adds up to a 16.

16 in numerology is what is referred to as a karmic debt number. As the name implies, this isn’t easy energy to navigate. It can be incredibly rewarding to live in a 7 or 16 home if you are completely dedicated towards solitary and/or spiritual pursuits such as meditating, painting, writing, studying and becoming more intuitive. Then it can be complete peach and bliss. HOWEVER, if that is not your intention, you can find that your life is spinning out of control and you can feel completely isolated. So what do you do in that situation? Let go and let God! The outside world is crumbling as a means to coerce you to look inside yourself and look towards Spirit for answers. Meditate and pray that you find your truth and can live and express that truth in your daily life. As you turn your attention inward (toward your intuition) and upward (toward the Creator) you will find the peace you require and your life will restore to balance.

In future posts I will write a detailed list of home numbers and their attributes. In the meantime, it is always good to spend time every day in meditation and prayer and ask where you can live in accordance with your personal truth.
